MPC (Multiple Products Corp,) introduced their prehistoric playset figures in 1961. The company effectively ceased to exist in 1979 following its 1965 sale to Loral Corp. and their subsequent 1967 sale to Miner Industries, who went bankrupt in 1979. Post-1979 MPC figures that have been produced are the result of other companies reusing the MPC molds, and can range from soft to stiff to hard plastic. Any diorama details depicted are not included.
