Playtest cards are unique cards printed for exactly what it sounds like, playtesting. This playtest card was released by Wizards in the summer of 1996 for the upcoming Mirage set. These are not tournament legal and are printed on thicker paper and are black and white with white backs. These are not printed on magic card stock nor do they have the magic card finish.
