Description: Oggetti glass is popular with collectors though it isn't really a glass making studio, rather it it more of a distribution company supplying various stores and galleries with very fine art glass objects since 1975. This one is from Venice, probably Barbini or Mazzega, both known studios with whom Oggetti has been associated. I have seen this vase (same design and colors) in a smaller size (5.5"h) described as from the 1950s. Oggetti used top designers and their art glass is well-respected. This one has a definite Barbini's version of Bianconi's fazzoletto design, with gorgeous vertical transparent color ribbons alternating with fine lattimo netting. ("Lattimo" means milk white) These ribbons run all the way from the top rim to the terminus on the bottom, where they come together in a centered point within a Venini type pontil mark. Mazzega also used a similar hanky. . Also there seems to be a signature, etched on the bottom edge, but we can't make it out with a loupe. Oggetti Sticker is the '70s clear kind on the side.Colors go blue to white to red to white to green to white. It is somewhat squared and the four points are all red in a definite schema. Netting is fine without blurring errors, and very symmetric.10" high by 9" wide approximately. Pristine undamaged condition without issues!
