The photograph, taken by American photojournalist Steve McCurry near the Pakistani city of Peshawar, appeared on the June 1985 cover of National Geographic. They are in great collectible condition! No highlighting, underlining or missing pages. The June 1985 has minor edge wear on corners and a small stamp on top The Oct 2013 also has minor corner wear but the back has minor warping of a few pages towards the top as if it wet a little.
