These Cast Metal Puzzles begun back in Britain in the 19th century. To create the puzzles zinc alloy is melted and poured into a metal mold. Upon its completion after precise finishing the puzzles are ready. There are no answers in the set of puzzles. We want you to solve the puzzles on your own and experience REAL FULFILMENT.The Radix puzzle is known for both it's monumental looks and somewhat organic styling and movement. The entire unit gives off an air of antique wisdom, the pieces joined at the base in chaotic harmony.The puzzle was created by Akio Yamamanto and presented by him at the International Puzzle Party in Helsinki in 2005. At that event this puzzle won GRAND PRIZE in the Nob Yoshigahara Design Competition. Brian (alias Mr Puzzle) received one of these original puzzles and it's been a personal favourite ever since.The name comes from the mathematical term, "radical axis", and also means root in Latin. The innovative concept that it is, you might even be tempted to call it "radical".
