Description: NEW Vintage MacKenzie Childs Bearded Iris Tureen W/Spoon & Lid. There is some pitting on one side of the tureen. I’ve included a picture of it. It is not a second and was sold to me directly from Mackenzie Childs and is considered by them part of being handmade. This item was made and purchased during the period that Richard and Victoria Mackenzie-Childs owned the company. Each piece Mackenzie Childs plate may vary as is the nature of handmade items. Painting and glazes may vary also. Also, pitting is normal in handmade pottery. It is approximately 20 years old, made in the 1990's. They were purchased directly from Mackenzie Childs between 1995-2000. Never used. Only stored.
