Description: Signature cut trimmed from an autograph album page of Neysa McMein (1888-1949) famed illustrator and portrait artist whose art appeared on the covers, in advertisements and articles in such magazines as “The Saturday Evening Post”, “McClure’s”, “McCall’s” and “Colliers”. During WWI she traveled throughout France entertaining troops and made posters to support the war effort. She was made an honorary non-commissioned officer in the US Marines for her wartime contributions. Her many portraits included Presidents, actors and writers. 4.25 X 3.5. Very good condition.
