Description: For sale is an Antique 18th 19th C Pennsylvania REDWARE plate/shallow bowl with beautiful slip design. The slip design does have some surface loss of glaze, but the design is still clearly visible. The remaining glaze has authentic crackled look. Rich orange pumpkin colored background of the most desirable kind. Old baked back is beautifully blackened. Authenticity is guaranteed. The plate measures approximately 10” in diameter. The plate is in good antique condition with only some hairline cracks to the front. Very tight and stable. See photos for details and your judgment. The back is covered with blackened patina evenly. Other age appropriate surface wear and imperfections as shown in the photos. Please check all photos for detailed condition. It is one of the 2 plates being posted of same design as shown in the last photo. They are listed and sold separately. Overall, this is a great early American redware display item ready to be added to your primitive/country/ early Americana/American folk art collection. Feel free to check out my other antique and collectible listings. I gladly combine shipping whenever practical.
