Description: Here we have a nice snuff bottle from the 1840s. This example features a rectangular body with chamfered corners, a short fire polished sheared mouth, and a pontil scarred base. The glass is a medium olive amber coloration that is full of tiny bubbles and impurities. This bottle stands 4 3/8" tall and is in very good condition with just one very minor, difficult to see 1/8" fracture to one corner near the base region. No other chips, cracks, bubble bursts, etc. There is some spotty light interior residue / dust that could also be removed if desired. A great early snuff that displays perfect! If anyone has any questions, please ask.
