Description: Nike John McEnroe 1989-1990 Challenge Court Warm Up Jacket This ultra rare jacket model was worn by John McEnroe from the Fall of 1989 through the middle of 1990. It is brand new with factory tags still attached! Any vintage Nike tennis enthusiast or McEnroe fan will appreciate this colorway, which matches the Air Tech Challenge II "Clay Blue". It measures approximately 24" across the chest (underneath the arm sleeve hems) and approximately 29" from the top of the unfolded collar to the bottom hem. I have included photos of John wearing this jacket model at the 1989 Nabisco Masters, during his exhibition match with Bjorn Borg in Japan, and at Wimbledon in 1990. It has been listed as "new with defects" due to the tag at the collar having been cut and some spots/stains throughout the fabric, which may or may not come out after being laundered. These blemishes are often naturally occurring from age and being stored for over 35 years. Please see photos for details of the jacket as evidence of its condition before bidding.
