Nitrofurazone is not recommended for use in reef tanks and may leave your water with a slight yellow tint after treatment is completed. The yellow tint will fade over time and with water changes. Recommended Dosage and Treatment: 1 - Begin with a 25% water change and remove any activated carbon, purigen or any other product in the filter. Removal of these products will help avoid interference with this treatment. 2- Dose 1/4 teaspoon per 20 gallons water. 3- Repeat daily for 5-days with a 25% water change daily. NOTE: Complete all 5 days of treatment to avoid unwanted goods becoming the treatment.
