It installs easily onto a flat surface thanks to the built-in mounting box bracket, which features a modular design to allow future retrofitting of add-on components without disassembling the entire system. It is recommended that you install the head vertically so that the cartridges (sold separately) hang down, and to allow 2 1/2" of clearance below the filter cartridges for easy replacement. This manifold includes a built-in water shutoff valve and a flushing valve to make replacing the cartridge easy, and all wetted parts have passed NSF extraction tests.
