Can - Coal Mining / Bicycle Lamps Vintage National Carbide can that was never used and was part of a case of 12 straight from the container production factory and stored for many years by a collector. This gentlemen had a vast collection of antique and vintage National Carbide items, as well as Eveready batteries, which later bought National Carbide. The case was shipped directly to National Carbide after being made, but no can was never filled. It would have contained calcium carbide and used for coal miner's lights, antique bicycle lamps and other carbide lamps. This listing is for one (1) can. It is in excellent condition showing only minor oxidation on the inside of the can and on the lid. Some minor scuffs may be on the graphics due to storage. Again this 1 can is from a case of 12 that came straight from the production/print factory to National Carbide, but none were never filled with calcium carbide. It measures just under 6 1/4 inches tall.
