Something simple, flowy, that would emphasize my upper body, and that would pair well with a summer wedding outdoors. However, when I went into a BHLDN store for an appointment, I knew it was out of stock. I tried other very nice dresses, but eventually went back home in Argentina empty handed. Around a month later, a family member had to travel unexpectedly to the US and I didn't hesitate one second: I contacted BHLDN's customer service asking for recommendations regarding my size. They looked at my file and recommended a size 4. So I ordered it and they had it delivered in 48 hours!. The fit was PERFECT, also the length! (I am 1,68 mt. tall, without heels). I paired it with some accessories and shoes that resulted in exactly the look I wanted for this day. I can't recommend this dress enough. The price/quality ratio is phenomenal. The stitching is very professional, and the inner skirt, although somewhat see-through (mind your undergarments) provides a layered and textured feel, something which the draping on the upper part of the dress also contributes to. Overall 100% satisfied.Perfect dress for our secret weddingSince this was a second wedding for both of us, I wanted something simple but elegant. This dress was perfect for our small wedding at a country barn setting. I didn’t need to have it altered as it fit perfectly. I usually wear from size 6-10 and ordered the 6 and 8 based on the measurements listed. I ended up wearing the 6. I needed high heels since the dress is long. I wore spandex and didn’t think the dress was see through at all. It flowed nice in the wind and photographed beautifully. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to not spend a ton of money on a dress but still feel special. Some dresses don’t make you feel like a wedding dress and this does!Perfect Dress!I wrote a review on this dress when I received it but I wanted to re-review it after wearing it for our October wedding. We had an earthy-simple-elegant wedding with an outdoor mountain ceremony & an art gallery reception. I'm a bit of an "offbeat" bride and didn't want a traditional wedding dress and the ivory fluer dress was PERFECT for me! The dress was very comfortable yet still gave me that princess feel. I added a mermaid style slip underneath to give it a bit more oompf & purchased an organic horsehair flower sash from another vendor that worked really well for our wedding style. I am 5'6"-120 lbs.-32C and I wore 3 in. heels. I ordered the dress in a size 2, had it hemmed about an inch & had the lace top taken in a bit. Although I think a size 0 would have worked out, the altered size 2 fit beautifully. I'm already thinking of how & where I can wear it again!
