A single nominally 26mm die pair was prepared and used to strike tokens intended for use in commerce on both copper and brass planchets. A handful of these tokens have been found on much smaller planchets. Copper tokens struck on the smaller planchets are very rare with less than ten known. Brass tokens struck on smaller planchets such as this one are extremely rare with less than five known. This is an attractive and fully struck uncirculated specimen of this extremely rare variety.
