Description: **Nice humans feel free to skip this paragraph :-) For those who are angry at the world and feel the need to take it out on people trying to make some extra money for their family, please let it be known-I listed the forthcoming item a few months ago and some unhappy being reported it, getting it removed. I appealed that removal and IT WAS APPROVED AND REINSTATED-{{{Screenshots of said approval are attached}}** Now on to the fun part…… ESTATE FIND, **FOUND AS-IS** Vintage, Retired, Military Base Is CLOSED, OBSOLETE, Ft. Oglethorpe Military Police badge, #2. Ft. Oglethorpe is now a town, the military base was decommissioned and closed in 1946. This badge has a spelling error, Oglethorpe is missing its “H”. The black paint was already there, I DID NOT TOUCH IT UP (yes, someone actually messaged me last time, in the middle of the night, to accuse me of “ruining” it. This is what we as sellers have to deal with sometimes, but all my amazing, NICE, buyers make it all worthwhile-that being said, if you’re only going to message me to be nasty, don’t waste your or my time-you will be placed on the blocked buyers list, as they were. I do not do bullying….) I could only find 1 other badge like this, it is on a collectors forum, and it too has black painted lettering-looks just like this one, only different number and spelled correctly. I could not find any other reference to their history. This badge has finish wear, scratches, scuffs, bends, **the pin is broken off on back**, etc. **Selling As-Is**, as a HISTORICAL, OBSOLETE, collectible. This will be wrapped well, shipped in a box, added insurance will be included. Please see all pictures for complete description and get it before someone tries to report it again :-) …..thanks! **Also, I will not lower the price on this. It is rare and a great piece of history**
