Description: This is a pair of 19th century mid 1800s Old Paris porcelain vases. They are marked 104 P&A on the bases, incised under the glaze, very difficult to photograph. Each is 11" tall and 7" wide across the handles. They are hand painted blue with a hand painted still life of flowers on the front. There is also hand painted gilt detailing to the rims, handles, and front. The handles are applied in the shape of twisted tassels. One of the vases has a small chip on the underside of the left tassel as you face the vase. There is also wear to the gold from handling over the years. Overall in really extraordinary condition. These will be stunning addition to your mantel, china hutch, or wherever you want to display them! JKT.
