However, this tire will not perform well in winter weather or lower temperatures. The tire helps avoid hydroplaning with the four wide tread grooves by channeling water from beneath its footprint.The center rib in the middle of the tread pattern enhances the steering responsiveness and precision, while also improving the tire's directional driving stability thanks to the Construction Technology. This improved feel for the road allows the driver to respond to different situations quickly and efficiently. The shoulder blocks of the tread pattern offer elevated stability and grip during braking, cornering and maneuvering.Goodyear's special tread compound helps reduce the rolling resistance of the tire.
