Description: The Order of Labor Glory is a state award of the USSR, established on January 18, 1974 by Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR. The work on the creation of the order was supervised by the Secretary of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR M. P. Georgadze. The author of the drawing of the order is the artist of the Goznak factory, Yu. M. Egorov. The Order of Labor Glory has three degrees, the highest degree of the order is the first degree. The award is made sequentially: first by the third, then by the second, then by the first degree. This is the only one of the Soviet orders awarded for labor distinction, which has a division into degrees. According to its statute and the privileges granted to the cavaliers of all three degrees, the Order of Labor Glory corresponds to the military Order of Glory.
