Description: Original 1929 Chicago Stadium Barton Pipe Organ Magnets. Two C-20 Magnets manufactured by W. H. Reisner Mfg. Co. Personally removed from the Chicago Stadium prior to the buildings' demolition in 1995. The pipe organ console and majority of it's parts and pieces were dismantled, removed and shipped to Arizona in 1995 in an attempt to rebuild and once again enjoy the largest pipe organ ever manufactured. Unfortunately a storage building fire destroyed nearly everything related to the pipe organ with the exception of the main console, which was displayed at another location. The console was eventually purchased by a Las Vegas collector, rewired, rekeyed and repainted and is currently on display in Las Vegas. These magnets represent what is left from the original electronics and wiring from the organ. They were left behind; deemed to brittle and outdated to be reused, and salvaged days prior to the wrecking ball destroying the building. Many Chicago Blackhawks fans will remember the beauty and power of the organ, as the only time it was played in it's final years was during the National Anthem and sporadically during breaks in action during Black Hawks games. Great opportunity to purchase a pair of rare artifacts from one of the greatest hockey buildings ever. Feel free to print accompanying advertisement describing the magnets function and use in the Stadium Barton Organ. Winning bidder to add $7.95 USPS postage within the continental USA. Outside USA postage determined by location - email me your postal code/country for shipping details. Please see my other auctions for more Chicago Stadium items and message me with any questions. Good Luck Bidding!
