Description: This is a type 1 original photograph, These troopers of the 1st Cavalry Division take a much needed breather during the intense fighting around Yongdong, Korea in July 1950. The 1st had just landed in Korea and was covering the retreat of the 24th Division when the North Koreans dominated them at every turn. They were untested in battle at this time. They finally made it back to the Pusan perimeter where their actions had given the UN time to prepare for the North Korean offensive. Guaranteed to be 100% authentic. I have been selling photographs and artifacts from this period, on eBay, for the last 15 years. Their preservation and your procurement of them are my top priorities. Please ask any questions you might have before buying. I will always stand by the sale. Shipping charges for multiple purchases of photographs will be combined. Any changes, upgrades or added fees will be deducted and the remaining shipping paid will be refunded. Buy with confidence and thank you for your purchase.
