Description: ABOUT THE ARTIST: Tolpekin Georgyi Volodymyrovich – was born on 18th of February, 1922 in Kyiv. He studied at Kyiv State Art Institute. Mentor -Trokhimenko K. Member of USSR Union of Artists. Since 1949 he participated in republican, all-Union and foreign art exhibitions. Worked in the field of easel painting. Main works: "The Road to the Collective Farm" (1952), "Ukrainian Spring" (1958), "Morning on the Dnieper River" (1959), "Carpathians" (1970), "Roses" (1976), "Flowers and Fruit" (1978), "Winter" (1985) and others. Paintings are kept in the Chernigiv Regional Art Museum, in other museums, galleries and private collections in Ukraine and abroad. Georgy Volodymirovich died in 1990.
