This device can be programmed to any hearing loss ranging from mild to severe. These are slim tube devices and not intended for hearing losses ranging from severe to profound. ***Devices must be programmed for individual hearing loss by local audiologist.*** The device is set up for the right ear, but it includes an extra slim tube for the left ear. So user can change the configuration as desired. Device uses directional microphones, digital noise management, and feedback suppression to improvement speech understanding while limiting background noise. Device uses size 13 battery. Can be paired directly with iPhone for audio streaming (phone calls, music, etc) and remote control use. Can be paired with Android through a free downloadable app for remote control use only.
