Description: For your consideration, Dr4 Watches has on offer a fairly rare Panerai Luminor Marina, reference # PAM00775, fine timepiece. This is one cool modern military timepiece that just "looks the business" on the wrist. I find for sunnier days that I reach for white dial timepieces and also for when I go snow skiing. It just feels and looks even more right to me. Of course, Panerai Luminor models are "strap monsters" in that they are versatile and flexible for a variety of duties and looks. As such, you get four straps here for almost any conceivable outfit or occassion.Of course we are bringing the best value on the internet because we tirelessly source our inventory and inspect very closely upon receipt for quality and authenticity. We are extremely thorough in our listings and we still absolutely encourage questions regarding the timepieces. If you have questions regarding the specifications, provenance, history, etc., no problem. Just ask if you have a question! We only deal in 100% real watches because reputation is critical for us and in this industry in particular. We always have the inventory in our possession. We do not do the broker thing. The condition of this watch is as follows: Pre-owned in very good condition. I would rate this cool timepiece at 95% with the yellow strap at 90%, the blue strap at 95% and both the white, Miami / Marina "blue" and black which are my three favorites at 99%+ each. Panerai needs no introduction but if you are not familiar with their timekeeping history definitely read-up on it as it is fascinating. The short version is: Pre-WW2, WW2 instrument manufacturer, legitimate frogmen applications, distinctive Italian style with both the Luminor and Radiomir models as the best known. Quietly cranked along post WW2 only to be resurrected by none other than Sylvester Stalone. Became a hit brand in the 1990s with Hollywood elite action heroes and lady killers, ultimately resurrected by the Richemont Group and has thrived happily ever after. Because we only want timepiece customers who are delighted with their purchase, we strive to add some additional insight to help you make a great timepiece decision. With that in mind, some additional considerations about this watch include: 1. This watch is large at 44mm and works well on medium to large wrists. It brings a modern oversized look and I can recommend this watch for somebody with a wrist size of 6+3/4 inches in circumference and larger. I have an average size wrist and this watch works well on my wrist. It gets worn about 1 time a month, typically at night when it is cooler. It is currently seated on that cool black diving rubber strap (with the wonderful matching blue "OP" logo) where I suspect it will stay for the next few months. 2. This is peculiar watch that makes a retro military kind of statement. Rock this to your next Zoom call or to your tech business and you evoke the military tough guys from WW1... due to the iconic Luminor case... but still with a touch of luxury that the white dial and nice Arabic numerals bring to the table. This particular stainless reference puts a premium on readibility, durability and versatility while throwing off a distinct diver style aesthetic. 3. The three rubber straps and yellow leather strap are all cool and give you four looks for this premium timepiece. Think of the blue or white rubber straps as the play for when around or in water. The leather strap just looks cool and is best for activities away from water. The black one is for diving or swimming duties but also for late at night with a black t-shirt, black jacket, etc.. If travelling to Miami or some coastal town consider going with the white dial, white strap set-up --- it is a conversation magnet when these two are paired. 4. Highlights on this one include the simplicity and strong execution of the dial and the nice polished stainless steel case finishing. The dial and Arabic numeral indices steal the show visually. 5. The watch also features the iconic Panerai Luminor half-moon trigger guard which acts as a protective barrier to the crown. Worked well for 1940's Italian military frogman and works exceedingly well even now. The design has been tweaked over the past 80 years but the basic engineering premise still shines through in this reference. 6. Still, the star of the show from a timing perspective is the easy to read standard hour and minutes. This is the raison d'etre for the Panerai Luminor. Addition by subtraction. Make time-reading clear, bold and effective with minimal of distractions. As a dude who is well into his 50s, I appreciate easy to read timepieces in dawn, day, dusk or night conditions. I love the lack of a second hand on this one. 7. One final cool point is that this is a manual wind mechanical timepiece. Simplicity personified. As such, you will need to... and hopefully enjoy... giving this one a wind daily. 25 half-turns a day and it should power you nicely all the way to the wee morning hours. It should take you about 20 seconds to do this and if you are like me then you enjoy this ritual and daily interaction. 8. Rounding our the listing and the package is a nice Panerai Pearwood box, the strapped-in tool and of course five straps in total. These are all included as you see in the "everything picture" which is typically the 2nd picture and the Miami / Marina blue strap that you see in the last pictures. I added the Miami / Marina blue strap after I did the initial write-up so it is not in Picture #2 but it is included and it is awesome! We do not offer a warranty but will work with you to make any post-purchase repairs via advice on where to go and what to do (with no profit for us but paid for by you). Everything we sell is working fine for all functions when it leaves our facility (or more specifically the safe deposit box where our watches reside). In some cases, we can go back to our source and get the watch repaired for free based on our relationship and reputation. We should always be the first port-of-call if there is an issue. 100% delighted customers so far and we aim to keep it that way. Please examine the pictures, what you see is what you get. The only exceptions are the black case that we photoraph on and the English Bull Dog which we put in our group shots because we think it looks great. The Bull Dog is a James Bond tie-in and we kind of really like James Bond. And finally, we are an Atlanta based business but we also operate out of North Florida (some inventory in both places) as I like to include my brother in the business some. Thank you for your consideration, Steve
