This yarn uses the chainette construction method which produces more yardage for the same weight. The resulting yarn is lighter in weight which is important for cotton yarns. By using this technique for construction, the yarn will produce a fabric that is resistant to the growing factor found often in cotton yarns. The colors produced for this particular yarn are bright and lively and reminiscent of the colorful atmosphere South America is known for. The resulting fabric will have a subtle self-striping character. Four new colors added for 2022. Even though this yarn is a DK weight instead of Worsted weight, it is a good option for my Perfect Market Bag pattern which uses only 2 skeins of yarn.
