Angelus is approximately 16 inches in grand auditorium shape. The top is made of European bear claw spruce with finely detailed bear claws, and the sides and back are made of cocobolo wood with exotic sap that catches the eye. Peruvian mahogany neck, which is said to be difficult to get these days, ebony fingerboard & bridge, Goto ebony knob gold pegs, curly maple binding, built-in original 18V drive pickup system (contact piezo type). The rosette, puff ring, fingerboard inlay, and headstock inlay are decorated with ebony and paua hearts for a luxurious yet unified finish. The bracing is a hybrid type of X and fan, and is an original PRS structure that achieves top strength to hold iron strings and richness to express delicate tonal nuances.
