Here is a terrific lot from a nice Pan American Exposition collection that I have on eBay right now!This is a rare postcard which was sent from Buffalo, New York to Scottsville, New York on February 28, 1900, about 14 months before the iconic Pan American Exposition! As you can see, one side has AN INCREDIBLE FIVE Pan Am Expo cinderella stamps that are BEAUTIFULLY affixed on the upper half. They are number BC1, BC2, BC6, BC9, and BC10 (which was affixed in two pieces.) This is truly a wonderfully collectible! This also has a March 1, 1900 receiving cancel / date stamp on it too. By the way, the stamp identifying number (BCx) used in this description is from the high quality book called Buffalo Cinderellas. This terrific publication, which won an American Philatelic Society gold medal award, contains the fascinating stories of the two men who are most associated with the awesome souvenir stamps issued for the 1901 Pan American Exposition.
