The hard rubber gives you a sharper, brighter sound than soft rubber along with a slightly muted attack you would expect from rubber. Outfitted with 1” diameter hard rubber heads and hand-stained solid birch handles, these mallets measure 15 ¼” length overall (from bottom of handle to top of mallet head).
