Thank you for honoring your pet's life by purchasing a gift that gives twice! This listing is for one stainless steel cremation pendant on a stainless steel necklace chain. The pendant has an empty chamber that is designed to hold the ashes of your beloved pet upon his or her passing. We have many other dog and cat-themed cremation pendants available in our store if you would like to check them out, too, to make sure you are selecting your favorite. We do also sell all of our cremation pendants by themselves and on key rings as well. You can view these in our eBay store, or contact us for assistance. Again, this listing here is for one urn pendant, one wing charm, with one 20” necklace chain. The other photos are just to show you different angles of the pendant and give you a good feel for the size. If you need a different size chain, leave a note with payment. We usually have in stock a thin child's/ladies 16.5" chain, a medium/unisex 20" chain, a thicker MEN'S 20" chain. Depending on our stock, we may have larger sizes available if the 20" is not going to fit. We assemble these ourselves so it is no problem to request your desired size! The pendant is about 25mm or 1 inch tall measuring from the top of the loop that holds the necklace to the bottom of the heart. The width is about 20mm (about 3/4 inch) at the widest point. The back is flat and can be engraved, although we do not offer this service ourselves. Most local jewelers will be happy to do this for you for a small fee. The pendant can be filled using a tiny funnel, or tweezers. You can make a funnel out of a sheet of paper, and it will work just fine. First, unscrew the circle cap on the top of the pendant. Tap the ash into the chamber. With tweezers, just pinch a small amount of ash and then place it into the opening. Be sure to screw the cap back on tightly after filling, but be sure not to over-tighten. Then, the pendant can be worn next to your heart at all times. For a permanent seal, you can use a touch of metal to metal adhesive. Some people prefer they remain able to open to that ashes can be spread in meaningful places, and then refilled. Most people use a touch of superglue to make sure the ashes never spill out, especially if wearing regularly or using on a key ring. Note: This pendant is NOT hollow. There is just a tiny little chamber under the screw. Only a tiny amount of ash is needed. If you are searching for a pendant that holds a larger amount, this is not the right pendant for you. Please check in our store. Our pendants that say "Large Vial" in the title hold more. Stainless steel is extremely durable and can be worn even during bathing. It will not rust, tarnish or discolor skin. You can clean it at any time using rubbing alcohol and a soft cloth. The alcohol will not damage any part of it, including the black printing. The pendant necklace will come sealed in a tiny plastic zip-loc bag, with a little card with information about RescueArtWorks!
