The original sign image was captured by a high resolution large format scanner with care given to keep all the detail of the aged original sign. Then the printed image was applied to 1/8th inch thick Dibond® material and then laminated. It is the industries leading aluminum composite product. Dibond® is a rigid, lightweight material popular for use as indoor or outdoor signage. Also known as aluminum composite material (ACM), Dibond® is a three-layer panel material made of two layers of pre-finished aluminum bonded on either side of a polyethylene (PE) core. Its used in many indoor and outdoor applications due to their excellent dimensional stability, lightweight, strength, and durability. This is a great looking reproduction of a original custom boot advertising sign. It's not full size but it is impressive looking at the size we made it.
