SOLE OWNER - Acquired by myself at the show-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------My first full Phish tour was Fall 2000. Since then I have seen over 100 shows. I was always busy hustling on lot and I never would go into the show early to get show posters, or did I settle in one home long enough to think about collecting posters. Until this show, when for the first time I waited in line and got this, my very first Phish concert poster. I framed it when I got home from that tour and have held onto it for 20 years now. I am not totally confident about this idea of selling it but I am letting go of a lot of things from storage to reduce the amount of things I have, and so I hesitantly have chosen to post it here. If it sells I hope it goes to someone with a great story about these nights, and if it doesn't, maybe I will still have it in another twenty years. I recently got out of prison for a nonviolent cannabis case and am selling because I could use the extra money so if anyone grabs it I appreciate the support. While I could use the funds it's also a really big decision to let go of my first Phish poster ever so I don't want to put a lower price on it due to that and since it's getting really hard to get these older posters now being this show was a full 20 years ago, and I have a few hundred into the framing as well which hopefully is done in a style hopefully flows with most people style. Hope it finds a good home. Thank you. Specs and details below. FRAME / MATTING / GLASS DESCRIPTION------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------FRAMEThe frame is constructed from a 2 centimeter width, premium dark gray metal, with a subtle metallic sheen to it and a narrow profile and a modern aesthetic. GLASSHigh-grade museum glass, 99% UV protection to prevent fading and degradation, advanced anti-reflective coating reduces glare, & acid-free and lignin-free preventing damage to the art from harmful chemicals. Optimal thickness both durability and minimal visual distortion. The museum glass framing is engineered for both preservation and presentation, ensuring the artwork remains protected while displayed in its most authentic and visually appealing state. MATTINGThe artwork is mounted with a high-density black matting that provides a strong visual border. The assembly of the mat and frame has been done with precision ensuring the edges align perfectly and the artwork is secured in place. It was framed just weeks after going to this show when I picked a random frame shop that was close to my house and the professional framer also happened to be a woman who used to follow the Grateful Dead. CONCERT POSTER IMAGERY DESCRIPTION [Image uploaded to Chatgpt for the below description]----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This concert poster artfully merges the iconic John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge, a storied span connecting Cincinnati, Ohio to Covington, Kentucky, with the free-spirited essence of Phish, the band renowned for their improvisational music and an almost mythic connection with their fans. The central vehicle, emblazoned with a bold 'P' and the unmistakable Phish logo, is a fantastical creation— a fusion of a Star Wars speeder bike, like those seen in the 'Return of the Jedi' film, particularly the design of the front part and the overall silhouette, with the mechanical and rugged aspects of a real-world chopper motorcycle, evidenced by the engine and exhaust components, as well as the rear wheel. One can imagine if this vehicle was the transportation for a fan on Phish tour, the saddlebags would be laden with a headstash ready for any Jedi to lift off when ready, and most likely also holding a wire wrap pendant and a tourmaline crystal. This vehicle becomes a totem of Phish's legendary story—a nomadic intergalactic speeder for modern-day tour alchemists, transcending the ordinary and the expected.
