In designing this model, we drew inspiration from natural elements such as cells, spiderwebs, and the structural composition of spiders themselves, which is reflected in the silhouette of the plate carrier. The low-profile cover can be adjusted to fit three SAPI plate sizes – M, L, XL. Volume adjustment is achieved through flexible elements ("tabs") made of laminated Cordura Squadron fabric. These elements also serve as cable and antenna management. The front panel features a Lasercut Molle interface with a Multicam Original Velcro panel and a waterproof pocket for maps/documents. On both sides of the Molle, there are three vertical rows of holes for attachment and adjustment of the assault panel. Additionally, there are hexagonal holes for elastic bands, carabiners, and clip organizers. The inner side of the cover is made of high-density Velcro fabric (over 370 g/m²) with hexagonal Lasercut holes for improved ventilation and reduced infrared signature of the carrier. Thanks to this design, the inner "cushion" inserts are removable, simplifying the cleaning and adjustment process according to the appropriate size. The cummerbund with built-in pockets for ballistic inserts is also adjustable to accommodate inserts of various sizes and manufacturers (minimum allowable size 12x20, maximum size 20x42). To secure the inserts correctly, use Velcro elements on the upper and lower parts of the cummerbund. The package includes a soft damping insert made of isolon, which can be trimmed to the height of your ballistic insert if needed. For inserts smaller than 42 cm, it is recommended to also trim the top layer of isolon to match the length of the insert, ensuring it is secured within the damper like a "scoop." The plate carrier comes with a set of ROC 80 and ROC 40 quick-release buckles, as well as interchangeable buckle adapters. If needed, you can remove one or both ROC 40 quick-release buckles or even reposition them on the rear plate carrier. Replacing the ROC 80 buckles is done with a screwdriver or multitool. We use Chicago screws 10/8x6mm for maximum product standardization and reinforce the connection area with Kydex Carbon heat-resistant polymer elements. Threaded connections (as per the standard) are lubricated with specialized thread locker during production. All actions and field replacements can be done in less than 5 minutes without the need for sewing, etc. You can also detach one or both side buckles and connect the front Velcro flap directly to the cummerbund. The comfortable anatomically-shaped shoulder pads feature a built-in Molle interface, allowing the use of Woojin Plastic HD NTSR 25 (and similar) fasteners to secure backpack straps or additional Molle panels, among other accessories. The rear cover of the plate carrier also features a continuous Lasercut Molle interface and a full-size evacuation handle made of Murdock Webbing. The Karakurt stands out for its exceptionally lightweight design, ranging from 720g to 1.4kg depending on the cummerbund and cushioning configuration, and its extraordinary architectural flexibility.
