Every actuator cover will be hand fit before shipping, ensuring proper fitment/alignment. Wonder why your punch button might be crooked? Because this step was skipped. I have completed a good amount of these lately (thank all of you) and have definitely noticed that not many of the stock umarex adapters line up on the same turn angle, leaving room for 3 to 7 or so degrees of off angles, hence the crooked button position. After losing every one of my purchased "punch buttons" due to poor fit and all that gap between it and the grip, (20 bucks for button, 25 bucks for overseas shipping) I decided to sit down and design/produce one that I wouldn't have to worry about losing. It turned out so well that everyone I know that runs these 68's purchased one. Of note, once these are on, they are on. They can be taken off with great effort, but any damage that is inflicted to the finish upon removal we will not be held liable for. Please ensure your orientation is correct before installation. Install is simple, but instructions will be provided. We offer various styles of buttons. One is straight solid black, unpainted. The next is a matte primer in your choice of black, FDE-ish, OD green, or desert tan. The other style is a custom airbrushed finish with a UV protectant clear coat. Note that the painted versions are still painted. If you are hard on your equipment, the possibility exists that you may chip the paint. Although every precaution and step is taken for the best possible paint adhesion, in the end, it is still paint.
