It is not widely grown commercially but is commonly grown as an ornamental plant. General Description: A citrus hybrid of a pomelo (Citrus maxima) and a citron (Citrus medica). Hardiness Zone: 9 to 11 ? quite cold sensitive Maintenance: Low Mature Height: 12 to 24 feet Mature Width: 10 to 15 feet Plant Details: Growth Habit: Slow growing, with a rounded top. Leaf Structure: Long, glossy, ovate to elliptical, evergreen, lemon scented. Stem Structure: New growth is purple-tinged. Thorns along the branches. Bark Structure: Matures to medium thick branches.
