Description: Vintage glass light shade dates from the late 1940's or early 1950's. Bell shape has hand-painted florals of pink and green. Two colors of blue stripe around body. Sides are sloped towards fitter. Matte white body. From an 1890 historic McKinney, Texas home -- the estate owner collected many period frames for his renovation needs. I will be adding a large number of glass light shades & globes today -- please see my other items. Dimensions: 2-1/8" Fitter as measured from outside / from inside is 1-5/8". Height = 4.5". Bottom Diameter = 7-5/8. Body top diameter is 6.75". Condition: Excellent condition. There is slight discoloration where price tax was formerly affixed -- Needs more work to erase yellowish color. Slight scuff marks also require a good & thorough scrub. Unusually, no chip on fitter (these shades were frequently handled changing light bulbs and almost always have a few knocks around the fitter). No breaks, mends, repairs, cracks, hairlines, blemishes, or mentionable boo-boo's. Paint intact with good color and without scratches or erosion. Unpacked weight: 1 lb. 3 oz.
