Description: POST WWII KA-BAR CIVILIAN SALES FIGHTING KNIFE W/SHEATH. This knife was made by the Union Cutlery Company (KA-BAR) after WWII ended for civilian sales using a left-over early-war USMC blade from which the "USMC" has mostly been ground off. As shown by the photos, it was made with mostly left-over parts, such as the blade, guard and peen. It has had the initials, "REF" cut into the handle and I have re-blued the blade, but otherwise it is original. It comes with WWII ear sheath.
