Leather Like flexible boards. Boards have wear around the edges and exterior spine (see images). One hospital stamp inside. (It is rare to find this book for sale anywhere, it is as though it was purged from existence) William Frederick Koch was a U.S. medical doctor (PhD, legal certified medical doctor). In the 1940s he claimed he created glyoxylide "the Koch treatment", a drug which he claimed cured cancer after conducting research on the disease. The AMA dismissed his claim despite the evidence. (Koch learned the principles of homeopathy from A. W. Dewey). Koch disclosed the formula as:one part glyoxylide to one trillion parts water. He began working with the Wayne County Medical Society and its Cancer Committee. However the research and investigation was terminated suddenly by the Cancer Committee. At the time 11 Proponents of Koch’s research and treatments claimed his termination was due to Koch’s refusal to share the chemical compound of his injections with the medical community at large / Big Pharma. Koch and his patients who were treated considered glyoxylide a miracle drug that would cure a long list of diseases, even when administered at one part per trillion dilution but he never revealed his process for the manufacture of glyoxylide due his concern of the people who wanted to take it for their own profit. His treatment is on record and supported for curing a child of liver cancer within 9 months of the malignancy tumor diagnosis and only given 21 days to live at the time. Another patient had abdominal cancer and a confirmed malignancy and given less than a year to live, she was treated for 5 weeks and went on to live another 16 years.The FDA sued Koch twice, in 1943 and 1946, but failed to get a conviction. Koch fled to Brazil to avoid further prosecution and alleged persecution. Koch continued to treat patients in Brazil until his death in 1967. Koch supporters claim that Koch was poisoned due to his cure treatment and knowledge, resulting in his death at 86.
