Rare 1960's Black Penn Senator 6/0 114H Tiburon Frame Fishing Reel Very Nice!

Description: Penn Senator 114H 6/0 with Black side plates. Built this reel with a brand new Tiburon open top frame with steel blanks for lugs, original trolling lugs included. New HT-100 drag stack, open drag crank plate with new bearings and heavy duty aluminum t-bar handle. Steel main and pinion gear. This is a lesser seen version made for only a very short period in the early 1960's(1964?) as Penn was introducing the 114H model with higher gear ratio and actual ball bearings. They were originally made in black but switched to the now familiar maroon sideplates to avoid confusion caused between the 114 standard and 114H high speed. A rare reel to begin with and even more difficult to find in nice condition. Reel is very nice looking and functions very well for a 60yr old. Good freespool and loud clicker. Excellent condition with new chrome rings, may have a nick, scratches and/or storage wear on the plates, but not much. see all pictures for condition.
