Rare Antique 1912 American Family Counter Scale Green Kitchen Scale

Description: Antique green 60 pound American Family Scale. This is a more unusual scale to find, most commonly seen are 24 or 25 pound scales. This a counter scale with a 60 lb. capacity. Scale face reads 60 pounds, which is measured by 2 oz. It was patented Oct 29 1912. It was not legal for use in trade. There is paint loss and surface rust. The condition is fair to good, with the face being in pretty good used condition for its age. This scale has been lightly sanded and seal coated to stop the rusting process.
