This is a Hard-to-Find Pre-Prohibition Piece that is Attributed to William Foust Distillery that was located in Glen Rock, Pa. and was called Foustown then. I would date it to the late 1800's. This is a Beautiful Early Blown in Mold with Threaded and Hand-Ground Lip. It has Original Heavy Metal Lid that may be Pewter. It has Original Cork Lining. It measures about 9.5 inches long. It has Great Detailing with Checkered Grips. No dings, No chips, No cracks and No repairs. It has Great Shine. It does Not have any nicking on the Ground Lip or Threads. You will be Very Pleased!
