Description: Known originally as the "Magic Minnow" later called "Bill Ziegler's Famous Silver Shiner" this hand soldered prototype was first made in 1931 by the inventor Austin V. McKenzie. The patent number 1,881,823 is clearly shown stamped into the lip. The design was later bought in 1946 by Bill Ziegler who dubbed it the Famous Silver Shiner.
