Description: Magnificent “Like New” luxury Italian Richard Ginori porcelain dinner set for ten (10) plus six serving dishes. These "La Scala" and "Trevi" collections are discontinued and no longer available. RICHARD GINORI enjoys a reputation as one of the world’s premier quality luxury brands of fine porcelain tableware, established in 1735 near Florence, Italy. Decorated by hand in Italy, and found in museums, hotels, and fine tables around the world. Both collections are discontinued (introduced circ. 1980) and not available for sale as a dinner set anywhere that I can find, including Italy. EXCELLENT “LIKE NEW” CONDITION. Used no more than ten times (I never had more than six people for dinner so four sets weren’t used). Stored with thick felt between each dish to carefully protect. On the suggestion of a designer, I used two complementary patterns for my table setting: Primary pattern is the magnificent “La Scala” for dinner plates and serving dishes. The soup/pasta bowls and dessert plates (which can also be used as side dish for bread or salad) have the beautiful simplicity of a gold laurel border “Trevi” pattern: “La Scala” is a contemporary interpretation of neoclassical designs with classic green and gold florals, and generous 24k hand-painted gold trim and accenting (found at luxury hotels worldwide). “Trevi” is complementary to La Scala. It has a beautiful wide gold laurel border. I think its simplicity is a perfect “counterpoint” to La Scala’s floral design and brings balance to the table. I recognize this is a big-ticket listing. I would be willing to break it into two smaller listings if there is interest. For example, I could sell "La Scala" items separate from "Trevi" so a single Ginori design is in each listing. You will probably notice I haven’t sold many items on ebay, however I have been a member in good standing since 2004 (19 years) and 100% of what I have bought and sold were “positive” transactions.
