I mean seriously-it just doesn't get any more fabulous than this baby!!! That COLLAR is bonkers...those BEADS...that scalloped pattern in gold metal thread accented with silver & gold glass beads with beaded teardrops! The beads even edge the panels of the back split hem! Just magnificent! OH! That COLOR...like a deep mandarin orange wool. Love! This was big on my dressform, but on the correct size-it'll give you that perfect hourglass silhouette from the huge shoulder pads to the nipped-in waist & flare at the hip-magic! That double notched collar is just crazy good, & it closes with 2 nice gold buttons at the waist! The 1. Magnin Importers' label is no surprise...this is just beyond! This beauty is lined in that same gorgeous deep orange, but in crepe, measured flat from the outside, it's as follows: 44 inch bust, 37 inch waist, 42 inch hips, 25 inches from top of the shoulder to hem-the waist is about 17.5 from the shoulder, 17 inches shoulder to shoulder seam (the shoulder pads give you a bit over that) 23.5 inch sleeves, the buttons can be easily moved-up to 6 inches (!!) if you need it larger! In excellent condition-I note some tarnish, mostly at the back of the collar-as shown, a loose loop at the shoulder, the inside hem is a bit darker from wearing over a skirt-super minor, otherwise zero apologies on this gorgeous piece of the past! It's EXCEPTIONAL, & rare! Also? HEAVY.. & it has pockets! Not a cheap date….but when will you find another?
