Russian Imperial silver monogramed tea glass holder An antique Russian silver tea glass holder, 84 Imperial silver mark St. Petersburg, circa 1896 - 1908, maker's initials PJS in Latin.Owners monogram "N. SH", and engraved name "Shipunov" in Cyrillic. Nikolai Shipunov was an officer of the Russian Imperial Army who immigrated with his family following 1917 Revolution and eventually settled in Southern California. The tea glass holder is in excellent vintage condition with no significant defects or evidence of restoration. Diameter of base 3 1/4" or 8 cm , diameter of the opening: 3" or 8 cm; height to the top of the handle 4 1/2" or 11.5 cm. Weight 5.2 oz or 150 gram. Rare example of Russian Imperial silver work.
