Description: A rare pair of antique Staffordshire pottery monkey figures, dating from the first half of the 1800s. The monkeys are seated on a mound and holding fruit. They are a true mirror pair - one monkey holds the fruit in its left hand, the other monkey holds the fruit in its right hand. The figures are approximately 3.25 inches tall. There are no chips, no cracks, just some crazing and paint loss and wear, and some minor kiln firing flaws. Please see the photos for details.
