Description: This rare business card belonged to the renowned New York City Stork Club owner, Sherman Billingsley. He handed these card out to select individuals at the iconic Stork Club. He gave this particular card to the celebrated Literary Agent H.N. Swanson (see photos). In the 1980’s while perusing many files at Swanson’s Sunset Boulevard office I asked Mr. Swanson why there wasn’t a phone number or address on the card. Swanie said he wasn’t sure why, but thought it a bit arrogant. I laminated the card in the early 1990’s A rare piece of Stork Club history Will be packaged with care
