Rare Vintage Mirus Forstner Gold Plated Date Pointer Mens Watch 15J Germany 1950

Description: This is a vintage wristwatch dating to circa 1950. This is handsome, clean, and in very good condition. This has been professionally cleaned and checked. The movement has just been serviced. The watch runs well and keeps time. The time sets as it should. The date pointer advances properly. The case is gold plated with a stainless steel back and it is about 34mm wide not including the crown. It is about 42mm long to the tips of the lugs. The movement is a good quality Forstner 2080 and it has 15 jewels. The band is a new old stock made in Germany one piece nylon strap. The total length of the watch is about 9 inches. This has fixed lugs and it uses an 18 mm band which could easily be replaced if you prefer a different style or length. The crystal is clean and clear and has no scratches. The dial is very nice and is depicted accurately in the pictures. Please see my other listings...I am always listing rare watches and chronographs.
