The SC1 key way is very common to many residential and commercial locks. These gorgeous original key blanks are made out of nickel-silver which resembles sterling silver. Nickel-silver also called German silver. Nickel silver is stronger and more expensive than brass. And, it doesn't tarnish as much as brass.
