The break in on this glove is from another planet ! The mitt is broken in, it is very well padded and it is game ready ! The mitt does have a inner palm pad to help absorb the impact of the baseball ! The glove also has a great pocket as you can clearly see in the photos ! So once the ball enters the pocket of the glove it is not going to pop out ! As far as fitting goes, this glove is a tight but Comfortable fit on my average adult size hand and it is tight around the wrist !
