"Born To Love Me" peaked at #20. Both "Ain't Your Memory Got No Pride At All" and "3/4 Time" charted as well. Ray Charles Robinson Sr. was an American singer, songwriter and pianist. He is regarded as one of the most iconic and influential musicians in history and was often referred to by contemporaries as "The Genius". Among friends and fellow musicians he preferred being called "Brother Ray". Charles was blinded during childhood, possibly due to glaucoma.Charles pioneered the soul music genre during the 1950s by combining blues, jazz, rhythm and blues, and gospel styles into the music he recorded for Atlantic Records. Covers may show some creasing and minor ring wear and cut-outs or punch-holes. Splits less than 1 inch long may also be present. Writing and/or stickers may also be present.*Excellent is used to indicate a record better than very good plus. In general, an excellent record will have nice gloss and very few fine scratches and/or light paper scuffs. The cover will have no splits and no major creases.Very Good (VG) - May have scratches feelable with a fingernail.
